Bio: Alex grew up in the literary world constantly competing in writing contests and getting involved with newspapers, yearbooks and magazines. Now a senior at a prestigious University in Missouri, Alex majors in Public Communication and plans on attending graduate school for Creative Writing. Hi my name is Lisa Terry; I am 50 years old and have been reading for enjoyment since I was a child. In my senior year in High School I was clocked at reading 1,000.00 words a minute, so I am sure now 32 years later, my reading speed and comprehension has increased.
I love to read every day and usually am able to read a book a day. It doesn’t matter how thick the book may be either. If to compare, I read Twilight, all 4 books, in three days. This ability will allow a quick turnaround with your manuscript.
The genre of the books I read is quite extensive. I read Fiction: Historical Romances, Horror, Detective, Comical and books based different historical figures in U.S. and European history. This has added to my abilities to pick out verbiage, clothing, mannerism, etc that do not belong in a particular era.
I also enjoy reading non- fiction, biographical and auto biographical.
